Raw Materials Group, founded over 20 years ago, are pioneers in mining data compilation and analysis. Raw Materials Data, our proprietary database,is the most extensive production-side database within the industry. We are also experienced mineral economists and policy analysts. We use both our database and our global network of contacts to provide our clients with in-depth mining research and analysis.
Raw Materials Data: Raw Materials Data is a versatile production-side database, containing more than 17,000 mining industry entities, and covering precious, base and ferrous metals as well as ferroalloys. We are also leaders in providing information on ownership and control of production, making it possible to track structural changes within the industry. We develop our software in-house, so that each new release of the database contains both updated information, and improved software features. You have access to detailed mine information: metal, grades, production information (metal and ore), resources, reserves, mining methods, and contact details. You can also access our project lists, which allow you to see what projects are in the pipeline – where they are located in the world, at which project stage (greenfield, brownfield, conceptual, prefeasibility, feasibility, construction), what type of mining operation (open pit vs. underground), estimated production capacity, capital costs, and more.

Raw Materials Consultancy: Raw Materials Data, our proprietary database, provides the foundation for our mining expertise. By extracting and refining the extensive information contained within our database, we have become leaders in mining research and analysis. We conduct market and industry surveys, prepare global exploration and project reports, monitor and analyse production, ownership and mergers and acquisitions, and prepare customised database extracts. We have worked with the governments of Greenland, Namibia, South Africa and Sweden on exploration and mining investment promotions, as well as policy studies. On behalf of mining equipment manufacturers, we monitor and analyse investment trends. Some projects are done on a joint venture basis with leading research institutes, mining information services, geological surveys and other government agencies. |
